For the curious, namely Crash Ichimonji, Question Duck is wearing a scarf because it's cold this time of year. And he hasn't exactly been flying south... Hrmm... now there's a thought.

Hey, anyone know any cool places in South America to visit? I can think of a few.

Only the rugged image of the Marlboro cowboy is a myth.

Easter Island's a pretty nice place where our favorite duck could ask something irrelavant <3

Castle in the Sky!Robot Dude!

How about Cancun, MeXICO--

Sevicia, Nov 07, 2010, 01 pm

It can be the iguazu falls in Argentina and Brazil, or the Perito Moreno glacier, or the Aconcagua, or the neighborhood of La Boca with all the tango culture, or the obelisk of Buenos Aires, or the Pink House... or Puerto Madero... All of them in Argentina. There are a couple more, but I think it's already too much. Glad this duck comes down here

I love that movie!

If its Cancun I suggest isla mujeres.
It just fits more with our intrepid travelers choices of venue.
Beside either the north or southern tips of the island have spectacular views in their own way.

I love Ghibli films. I LOLed at the Robot of Mass Destruction.

Not entirely. Real cowboys we just cattle tenders, but there were real western mercenaries and desperadoes. Just not a lot of them.

...There's Montevideo, Uruguay.
And there's Santiago, Chile.
Brasilia, Sao Paulo, Porto Alegre, Rio de Janeiro, all in Brazil.

...Argentines are wankers, so no Buenos Aires.
And Monterrey, Mexico for Latin North America, too. They've got some weird-shaped mountains there.

What Totema said.

The modern perception of the old west being filled with gunfights and rampant lawlessness is simply not true.

Even Tombstone, famed home of the shootout at the OK Corrall had as it's highest death count in one year due to gunfire be a whopping 3.

That may be high for a small town, but nowhere near the levels Wild West movies would have you believe

So many people seem to recognise the robot from Laputa, but nobody recognises/has-heard-of the Ghibli Museum?

I love the reversed sequence of expressions. :)
