Cow's don't really have multiple stomachs so much different compartments. Many people refer to each of these compartments as a stomach, but it should be understood that they have a different digestive system because of their different diet.

1. reticulum (the hardware stomach, where foreign objects collect that cannot pass through the digestive system)
2. rumen (where bacteria break down cellulose and fibre from plant material)
3. omasum (absorbs water and digestible nutrients)
4. abomasum (which is most like a human stomach)

Let's not forget that cows can ruminate. Learned that from 'Fire Candy' by Yonekura Kengo in one of her 4-panel omakes about the lead male (he's part cow).
