Like Legos but online, you mine them, and it's more addictive.

If you were selling a QDuck plushy that asked questions when you squeeze it.

I would buy that.

So hard.

A game where you can build anything with bricks
There are also different modes:
-Survival: A game where you have to dodge and kill numberious monsters
-Indev: Here you have to gain recrouces to build a fort, weapons and food (only avaialble if you buy the game)
-Free mode: build freely whatever you want with unlimited recources

You can also play online with it with user created servers
but in here you find tons of griefers if you dont protect your creations right

According To UrbanDict.

I could go for some apple pie, right now. Better yet, apple crumble!

General.Hankins, Jan 26, 2011, 03 am

@ Akiaa: now the circle is complete, but if these characters are based off the earlier comic Pseudonym did, I think the "what" face was because QD DIDN'T know what it is, haha

I love his hat, that's awesome

Ha ha, Yamataro. You obviously haven't played the latest version of minecraft. Indev doesn't even exist anymore.

You can still demo survival and creative modes. However, you be missing out on 80% of the game. The newest versions of the game allow you to play on a infinitely generated world, with biomes. You can set it to either peaceful (which is like creative) or one of the 3 difficulties. You can build traps, cart tracks, music generators, boats, fences to keep off those damn kids off your lawn, fishing, and even use dyable sheep's wool to build stuff colorful thing.

Also, it was only made by one guy at the time (2 now) and he has sold millions of copies of the game.

Supersheep64, Jan 26, 2011, 09 am

It that the guy's mam or summat?

Ddraigeneth, Jan 26, 2011, 12 pm

"Also, it was only made by one guy at the time (2 now) and he has sold millions of copies of the game."

It just hit 1 million sales 2 weeks ago, and he's started up his own company with a few other people helping him develop it. Progress has been rather more slow and glitchy since he's gotten so preoccupied with the business aspects, but he seems to be warming back up.

Czar Squid, he got that information from urban dictionary. He says that in the last line.

It's funnier if you start in the third panel. Just ignore the fact that she is unmaking a pie.

S1d3w4yZ, Jan 26, 2011, 10 pm

Minecraft is awesome and you should try it.

Also, I ran around dying sheep several odd colors the other day. Quite fun.

walr (Guest), Jan 26, 2011, 10 pm

wee woo

Hey all, just commenting on Psudonym's behalf here, Psu is having some trouble accessing SmackJeeves at the moment so the next strip might be a bit delayed.

Yamataro, Jan 26, 2011, 11 pm

@Czar: Like Oh_Hey said, who I thank for pointing out.
I've played the game. ALOT recently. It's addicting.

Czar Squid, Jan 27, 2011, 10 am

@Yamataro: Then why didn't you say so?

biteinsane, Jan 27, 2011, 11 am

Minecraft is an addicting game

Neon-J, Jan 28, 2011, 09 am

But nice mention of Minecraft, nonetheless. :D

Sabbath (Guest), Feb 09, 2011, 09 pm

Shouldn't minecraft indicate the knowhow it takes to either tunnel a coal mine[gold mine, silver mine, etc], or dismantle a landmine? ;p
