I'm Assuming the Voter ID law

On May 25, 2011, Walker signed a Voter ID Law that required voters to show a government-issued ID before casting a ballot. The American Civil Liberties Union(ACLU) filed a lawsuit in federal Court to invalidate the law on December 13, 2011, claiming the law violates constitutional guarantee of equal protection under the law. The Wisconsin Supreme Court upheld the constitutionality of the voter ID law in July 2014.(Source Wikipedia)

Republican backers argued an ID requirement would cut down on voter fraud and boost public confidence in the integrity of the election process. But opponents say concerns over voter fraud were overblown and not documented, and the law was meant to reduce turnout among minorities and others likely to vote for Democrats. (Source ABC)
