Update Schedule Change

Evening fellas!

I'm afraid I'm going to announce this a little early, but I'll probably be switching to a 3 updates a week schedule now instead of upon hitting the 200th numbered strip. A number of reasons, some selfish, some timing, but mostly because I'd made this decision quite some time ago to change the schedule.

Tonight I find myself a wee bit groggy, a combination of way too nice a day and a bad case of seasonal allergies. And I'd rather draw this next strip well, than push it out quicker than I think I need to.

The schedule change is hopefully going to help me do a couple of things more often. Namely, other comics I'd been meaning to do. And getting in touch with various other contacts that I've been neglecting. So, as it goes, expect more updates at psuedofolio.tumblr.com where I'll hopefully be filling you in on all kinds of cool stuff.

Anycase, I'll catcha all later. And by later, I hopefully mean tommorow!
Got a question you wanna ask? A suggestion? Fanart? Send em here!

DDoS and/or firmware spoofing that lets people pretend to have dev consoles and get free games.

...or so the rumor mill has it.

They thought they had plenty of protection and didn't need to go the extra mile. This didn't work out. Now they're panicking and trying to cram in everything they possibly can into their protection system, leaving us to wait it out without the PSN in the meantime.

Capitalism Ho?

Because it's funny and our spiritual higher ups have a sense of humor, Duck.

Or a sign to the end of times.

Hey psudonym, I was reading again your rendition of Fat Son with the Manly Guys characters in it, for the billionth time because it still works on me, and I was wondering: What's your opinion on Recettear?

Edit: it would be pretty cool for the comment title to break-line after it. Just... putting that on the table and crossing my fingers.

The_Hankerchief, Apr 26, 2011, 06 am

Yeah, speaking of Manly Guys, I saw that guest strip you did, where John Marston was sining that song by Ashtar Command. I find this to be awesome, as well as the fact that the guys from Ashtar Command saw it and got a kick out of it.

Skynet.

Saw that adorable first panel and needed to do this: http://img694.imageshack.us/img694/4090/qduck.png

You're welcome.

@BM03
To your first question, I will say Recettear is actually a really wonderful type of game. A wholly unique spin on a decades stale genre that manages to charm with its wit, style, character, and engagingly deep gameplay. And a child yelling innocently "Capitalism, Ho!" is funny on more than a couple levels.
It's also the sort of humor and setting that's probably incomprehensible for someone that has never played a JRPG. It's got quite a strong Japanese aesthetic to it, making it a near perfect example to mock the genre with.

To your second question, I'll speak with my web code maestro about that. But I'm sorry to say, that it's not really on my list of priorities. I almost feel like having Comment Titles is silly to begin with and would cut them out entirely given the chance.

@The_Hankerchief
Ashtar Command seems like a bunch of cool guys. I really do wonder if they've printed and hung up a copy of that comic at their place.

I'm not sure what Playstation has to do with Easter, but, hey, it's Question Duck.

Because it's not the Wii.

Things that go boom, Apr 26, 2011, 11 pm

some one hacked the customer records and stole names, passwords, credit card numbers, etc. So they crashed the internet while they do some random mumbo jumbo to figure out who was the master hacker behind all this. At least, that's what I heard.

Unrelated Title to Mess With psudonym

You didn't hear it from me, but some have mentioned The Laughing Man.

Might as well just give it up, then.
