Delay warning

Evenin' all. My apologies but expect the next Question Duck to appear sometime in the early AMs tonight. I know it's not all that unusual anymore but I still feel the need to make amends.

I guess he just grew up... To be Like Mike.

Oh man, I'm sorry about that.

Tigredelmar (Guest), Jul 21, 2011, 09 am

He's reading "A Dance with Dragons" by George R.R. Martin. The depiction of george on the back is quite good.

If I could hit you through the internet, I would... nah I kid. I kid. I'd totally laugh and then scowl at you for that joke though.

Are ducks even allowed on planes?

He became just plain Bow Wow... then, pretty much nothing. I think he was on a Twix commercial...?

There isn't a picture of George R.R. Martin on the back of my print copy though. Maybe it's a picture he taped back there for the long passages about food. "Why is there a page here spent on telling us what produce and meat is stored in this icy room? Oh, right, it was written by chubsy-wubsy back here. Almost forgot."

Love the books, but sometimes he goes into Redwall territory with food porn. Come on, George, it's really not as important as arms, armor and characters. Focus.

I disagree, food will always be more important than arms and armour. It may not be glamourous, but starvation has killed many many more time over what wars have.

Aximili E I reminds me of a funny pic from way back when, of a duck calmly standing on a jet plane's wing. It was in a page which tried to start up another silly 'everybody knows its false' hoax like tree squids. The idea was that the common Mallard duck could fly at any altitude! :)
