Evenin all, if you don't mind I need to take a moment to unwind. It's been quite a gray day. Interrupted sleep, terrible rainy weather, slow work that will mean less cash this month, student loans, and a potentially catastrophic hard drive failure looming in my future (crossing my fingers it doesn't actually happen, and backing up everything I need to on multiple devices in case it does) and of course the scary depressing news coming out of government seemed to take it's toll. And for the first time in a long while I just wanted to curl up and hide. So yeah, I'm in a bit of a mood.

But then I have you guys and my friends and all that and it really isn't all that bad. How can it be when I get folks like Elastikid and others helpin' out with guest strip after guest strip like this one today! You can check out his funnily odd smackjeeves comics here http://blindfolded.smackjeeves.com/ and here http://elastikid.smackjeeves.com/ if you'd like!

And then there was the even better news this weekend, apparently you guys like me enough to nominate Question Duck for a couple of awards! Who'da thunk it? It's a great list of comics this year, and it's an honor to be nominated at all. Please check out the competition over at the Smack Jeeves Awards super site starting right over here http://sjawards11.smackjeeves.com/comics/1254885/welcome-to-the-show/ Seriously, all you guys who nominated Question Duck are the best. And I've gotta thank you, and promise you only more and more Ducky goodness in the future.

I'll be alright, a grim mood's nothing. Thanks all for your follows and your never ending support. And I'll catcha later everyone!

Oh great, now I need to read a bunch of other comics so I can vote honestly.

Can't I just pretend I did and say yours was better?

The movie theatre I work at does indeed serve alcohol.

Red light might not preserve your night vision, but acording to the pulse movies, it will scare of internet ghosts(yes the they are scared of the colour red for some reason)

Uhm... I'm pretty sure they do.

Some do, but I notice this usually only happens in smaller movie theaters (for example, here in Salem, OR, there's Cinebarre and the Northern Lights theater pub) for some reason. I've yet to see Regal Cinemas start selling beer on tap. haha

Usually it's just dinner theaters that serve it. Regular theaters stick with regular snacks. Why? Because drunk people suck to watch movies with.

Alcohol is a diuretic. What that means is it makes you pee out more than you drink in. A theater full of people with full bladder equals bad experience.
Man, I just found out about Question Duck recently from NerfNow, and I feel like I'm extremely late to the party.
