I'm going to guess corn - in the form of high-fructose corn syrup, naturally.
Also, I love Kobe's retribution. I'm also pleased that Question Duck's response to a shock is to ask a question, not THAT'S consistent characterization.
When we used to show cows at the Washington County Fair, there was another kid there named Nick, who had a fake spider he called "Herbie". When things were slow in the open class beef barn, he'd tie fishing line around him and fling him over the rafters above the center walkway. When an unsuspecting fairgoer (or goers) came walking down our aisle, Herbie would come down and meet them (and by "meet", I mean scaring the bejeezus out of them). It was hilarious, and this comic is very nostalgic. haha

edit: derp, knew I forgot something. Spider-webbing added for proper effect.

According to wikipedia, candy corn are first made by combining sugar, corn syrup, wax and water. They then add fondant and marshmellows.
...And now all I can think of is that caterpillar from Bug's Life wanting that fly's candy corn.
