Sudden thunderstorm

If there's no update later tonight before midnight, a power outage may have killed it. Cross your fingers.

update 9:36 pm, internet's back. It actually was knocked out most of the hour. Thunder rolled on its merry way.

I noticed. Most of the time, when the duck asks a question, he's eating.
Also, Cave paintings are fake! *Shot* *Doesn't believe they are fake*

A wizard did it!

Awesome link. :D

I don't know why I like the guy's face at the last panel. I think it's the lack of nose.... yup. definitely it.

I think this needs to be known.
Last night, I had a dream with a duck in it, and it looked like a real life Question Duck. No joke.
Your comic has lasting psychological effects, and they're pretty awesome.

Most likely because there is no wind rain or sunshine in caves so it wouldn't be washed away or faded. Don't know for sure...
Cute duck!

Question duck.

Who will prevail

pwii, Sep 23, 2010, 08 pm

Because they're not really millions of years old.

Ankh, Oct 01, 2010, 03 pm

Because they are in caves, so they are sheltered from wind, water, and sunlight. Also a wizard did it.

Asaryn, Nov 07, 2010, 01 pm

Because the ones that we find have generally been pretty sealed off from wind, moisture, and sunlight, which is why they don't let tourists come in an look at them anymore, because it quickly erodes away the paintings. Also the durability of the different cave paintings depend on what they were painted on and with. Also, the often think of cave paintings because we don't have wall paintings for a bit afterward in history, quite possibly because they were destroyed while the walls were broken or became eroded.

Cave Paintings

'Cause they're inside a cave, mostly away from the elements aside from water. Plus the fact that they probably haven't been around for as long as people think, maybe four-thousand years or so...

That is a very good Question Duck.

magnar1234, May 30, 2014, 04 pm

i love the fact that every time the duck asks a question it's instant pokerface

EmojiDragon77, Aug 13, 2015, 03 pm

apparently cave paintings are made of dirt or charcoal and mixed with spit or animal fat... and they did it in caves so the paintings are protected by wind and sunlight...
